help & adviceProduct Description
Introducing the Fama Sheldon, a new generation of sofa bed designed to deliver exceptional sleeping comfort while making the most of the space available in your home.
Sheldon features an innovative design that significantly reduces the gap between the mattress and the sides of the sofa bed. This clever development allows Fama to create a more compact sofa bed without compromising on the size of the sleeping area.
The result is an impressive 140 cm wide bed within an overall sofa width of just 159 cm – up to 18 cm narrower than many traditional sofa beds. This makes Sheldon an ideal choice for modern homes where space is at a premium, while still providing a generous and comfortable sleeping area for guests.
The same space-saving design is available in the Sheldon chair bed, which has an overall width of just 99 cm.
Mattress Options
The Sheldon is available with a 14 cm thick mattress, offering a comfortable sleeping surface for overnight guests.
Available mattress sizes are:
- 80 cm wide × 195 cm long – chair bed
- 140 cm wide × 195 cm long – sofa bed
Please note that the 160 cm wide mattress and 18 cm thick mattress options are not available on the Sheldon.
With its clever space-saving design, generous sleeping area and stylish Fama craftsmanship, the Sheldon is a versatile solution for anyone looking to combine everyday seating with a comfortable guest bed.
