These terms and conditions apply to the use of this website and by accessing this website and/or placing an order you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below. If you do not agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, you may not use or access this website.
Use of the website
You are provided with access to this website in accordance with these Conditions and any orders placed by you must be placed strictly in accordance with these Conditions.
You warrant that:
- The Personal Information which you are required to provide when you register as a customer is true, accurate, current and complete in all respects; and
- You will notify us immediately of any changes to the Personal Information by email firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone 01492 545013.
- You agree not to impersonate any other person or entity or to use a false name or a name that you are not authorised to use.
- You agree fully to indemnify, defend and hold us, and our officers, directors, employees, agents and suppliers, harmless immediately on demand, from and against all claims, liability, damages, losses, costs and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of any breach of the Conditions by you or any other liabilities arising out of your use of this website, or the use by any other person accessing the website using your shopping account and/or your Personal Information.
We reserve the right to:
- modify or withdraw, temporarily or permanently, this website (or any part thereof) with or without notice to you and you confirm that we shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification to or withdrawal of the website; and/or
- change the Conditions from time to time, and your continued use of the website (or any part thereof) following such change shall be deemed to be your acceptance of such change. It is your responsibility to check regularly to determine whether the Conditions have been changed. If you do not agree to any change to the Conditions, you must immediately stop using the Website.
To provide increased value to our Users, we may provide links to other websites or resources for you to access at your sole discretion. We are not responsible for the availability of such external sites or resources, for the privacy practices of such websites, the content of such websites, or the use to which others make of these websites or resources.

Product details and prices
Every effort is made to ensure that the product descriptions and prices shown are accurate at the time you place your order. If an error is found we will inform you as soon as possible. If the price shown is incorrect, we will offer you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price, or cancelling with a full refund.
All items are offered subject to availability. If on receipt of your order, the item(s) you have ordered become no longer available we will inform you as soon as possible, giving you the option of purchasing an alternative product, placing your order on back order or if you would prefer a full refund will be given.
We have gone to great lengths to illustrate our products, but each image should be viewed in conjunction with the descriptive text and will, of course, be limited by the screen settings of your own monitor screen. If an exact colour match is vital, we recommend you order a sample swatch or contact us.
We ask for payment in advance of delivery. This can be by credit/debit card, via our secure shopping system, or by cheque or postal order for UK customers. If you are shopping from outside the United Kingdom, your card company will convert the transaction into your own currency. We accept all major credit cards; MasterCard, Solo, Switch/UK Maestro, Visa, Visa Debit/Delta and Visa Electron.
After you send your order you will receive a copy by email, please print or keep this copy for your own records. This does not mean we have accepted your order. Once your credit has been approved, the receiving address has been verified, and the item has been located, your order will be accepted.
All prices shown are in £ (GBP) sterling, and are inclusive of UK VAT at 20%. If you would prefer to pay by cheque, cash or bank transfer, please contact us at the showroom as we can only accept your order by telephone or mail or by prior arrangement.
Shipping, delivery and postage and packing
All relevant postage and packing, shipping or delivery charges are included in the cost of your order. The goods you order will be delivered to the address you give when you place your order. We aim to dispatch all orders within 5 days of the item being in stock but please allow up to 28 days. During busy times, or for bespoke orders, this timeframe may increase. A working day is any day other than weekends, bank or public holidays. If delivery cannot be made to your address for reasons outside of our control, we will inform you as soon as possible.
If you fail to take delivery because you have cancelled your contract under the Distance Selling Regulations, juliajones.co.uk shall refund or re-credit you within 30 days for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the order, less any expenses incurred for failed delivery.
Every effort will be made to deliver the goods as soon as possible after your order has been accepted. However, juliajones.co.uk will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you through reasonable or unavoidable delay in delivery. In this case, juliajones.co.uk will inform you as soon as possible.
If a carrier is used, upon receipt of your order you will be asked to sign for the items received in good condition. If you are unable to check the contents of the package at that moment in time please sign for the delivery as “UNCHECKED”. Failure to do so may affect any claim for replacement or refund that you make thereafter.
If you are not available to accept a delivery, it can be stored for you for up to 2 weeks without charge. After this time, you will be liable to pay £12 per week per item to cover storage costs. To avoid this situation please notify us when you order if you are likely to be away on holiday around the estimated delivery time so that we can do our best to arrange the delivery time with our suppliers.
Your Right of Cancellation (Distance Selling Regulations)
You have the right to cancel the contract at any time up to the end of 7 working days after you receive your order (see below). To exercise your right of cancellation, you must give written notice to juliajones.co.uk by letter, email, giving details of the items ordered and (where appropriate) their delivery. Notification by phone is not sufficient.
If you exercise your right of cancellation after the items have been delivered to you, you will be responsible for returning them to Julia Jones Ltd at your own cost. The items must be returned to our warehouse: Julia Jones Ltd, Conway Rd, Mochdre, Colwyn Bay, Conwy, LL28 5HQ.
You must take reasonable care to ensure the items are not damaged in the meantime or in transit.
Once you have notified us that you are cancelling the contract, Julia Jones Ltd will refund or re-credit you within 30 days for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the items. If you do not return the goods as required, Julia Jones Ltd may charge you a sum not exceeding the direct costs of recovering the items.
Made to order products cannot be returned (as well as self assembly furniture once assembly is part or fully completed), unless the item is deemed faulty. Divans, duvets, pillow products and mattresses are non-returnable once unwrapped, unless they are faulty. This is for reasons of health and hygiene. Your statutory rights are not affected. Julia Jones Ltd will refund or re-credit you within 30 days for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the items once they have been received by us.
For all other items if we make a mistake with your order, or if the goods received are in some way faulty, we have a no quibble returns policy. Simply return the item and we will replace it or issue a full refund. Returns should be made within a reasonable time (usually 28 days) and in original, undamaged packaging.
If you change your mind for any other reason, we are happy to exchange items, refund or credit your account, provided the goods are returned to us within 7 working days of their receipt, in the original packaging and in a saleable condition. We are not responsible for return postage costs or packages that do not reach us. Please ask at the Post office for a free certificate of postage. If you require, we can collect the goods at a cost of £75 within the UK mainland only.

Out of stock items
Sometimes, items are for a variety of reasons temporarily unavailable. We try to alert you to this fact on the website, but just occasionally, demand exceeds supply. If a product you have ordered is out of stock with our suppliers, we will contact you as soon as we are aware to see what course of action you would like to take, we will be able to either place the item on back order for you or refund the cost of the item.
