Environmental Policy

Julia Jones Ltd, recognize that our activities have an impact on the environment, for this reason we ensure:-

• Compliance with all relevant environmental legislation.
• Prevention of pollution from our activities.
• Effective use of all raw materials to reduce waste.
• Options for re-using or recycling wastes will be investigated prior to considering landfill.

We currently recycle:-

• Paper - sent for recycling.
• Cardboard - sent for recycling.
• Plastic - sent for recycling.
• Polystyrene - supplied to a company for packaging.
• Bubble wrap - re-used as packaging.
• Printer cartridges - sent for recycling.
• Timber - given away use on home log fires.
• Old pattern books - used by schools for art projects.
• Waste fabric - sent to local charities for making gifts.

As a company we use email where possible along with paper and envelopes made from recycled paper.

Our future aim is to email all estimates and invoices in the future to reduce our paper usage.
